Position: Railway Worker

Job Description: As a railway worker, you will play an essential role in the construction, maintenance, and repair of railway tracks and related infrastructures. You will work as part of a team to ensure that railway operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform construction and repair work on railway tracks, including laying rails, securing sleepers, and leveling tracks. Assist in the construction and maintenance of related infrastructures such as level crossings, bridges, and tunnels. Operate heavy equipment such as leveling machines, work trains, and railway maintenance vehicles. Regularly monitor and inspect railway tracks for any damage or defects, and perform necessary repairs. Ensure the safety of railway operations by following safety protocols and reporting any incidents or potential risks. Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute railway works effectively.

Requirements:

Previous experience in the railway industry or construction would be an asset. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively. Sense of responsibility and adherence to safety standards. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately. Valid driver’s license would be an asset.
